Maurer Productions OnStage understands how important personal privacy is to you and we are committed to fully protecting your rights. We want our patrons and volunteers to be aware of what information we collect and how it is handled.

As part of doing business as a volunteer, non-profit theatre company, Maurer Productions OnStage must gather and collect certain information, both personally identifiable and autonomous, regarding its patrons, volunteers and partners.

Personally Identifiable Information

Some of the information that OnStage collects contains details about the person who provides it that is "personally identifiable." Personally identifiable information, includes, but is not limited to, names (and spouse's name), street addresses, telephone numbers, identification numbers (such as insurance company group coverage numbers), and similar types of information identifying the person to whom such information belongs. This information is used to facilitate working with our volunteers (cast, crew, etc.)

Autonomous Information

Maurer Productions OnStage also collects information that is said to be "autonomous" through our website. IP addresses and information collected via "Cookies" are examples of autonomous information. Autonomous Information includes cached information. Autonomous information does not contain specific details about the identity of the person who provides it.

The OnStage website also contains links to web sites that are not affiliated with OnStage that may or may not have similar practices in place to protect the privacy of information that you supply. OnStage encourages everyone to review the privacy statements of each of the sites that are linked to or accessed from OnStage's web site so that there will be no surprise as to how each visited site collects, uses and distributes information.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are utilized to enable a continuous connection to web sites, making it more convenient to visit pages within a web site without the need to download the web site each time. Cookies will only contain information that a user may choose to volunteer. Cookies are meant to assist the user to visit a web site in a seamless fashion. Cookies are particularly useful in facilitating Web transactions that span multiple pages, e.g., purchasing show tickets online.

Use of Information

OnStage is committed to the confidential treatment of all personally identifiable information that it receives from you. However, OnStage can not guarantee your information is completely risk-free.

Except as otherwise noted herein, all personally identifiable information that OnStage collects when you volunteer for a production or purchase tickets from the Kelsey Theatre is used only for the normal business purpose of staging a production. It is accessible by OnStage team members, contractors, vendors and partners to the extent necessary for OnStage to conduct it's non-profit volunteer business. OnStage also may provides access to personally identifiable information to the extent required for the tax, accounting, legal and other professionals hired by OnStage to fulfill their fiduciary or representative duty. All such professionals are bound to maintain the confidentiality of information supplied to them by contractual or ethical obligations.

Exceptions

OnStage will consider personally identifiable information that is collected and kept about any person to be confidential and will disclose it to a third party only if (i) the discloser consents in advance in writing or electronically; (ii) disclosure is necessary to render the OnStage services and to perform related business activities expressed in this privacy statement ; (iii) disclosure is required pursuant a request for specific customer information to comply with a Subpoena, Court Order, and/or other legal instrument, legal proceeding or relevant law, specifically as it pertains to the US Patriot Act; or (iv) there is an immediate, imminent threat to the safety of any person, OnStage or the OnStage production. Upon a patron or volunteer's act of submitting such information to OnStage, the patron or volunteer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Statement and Policy, and the patron or volunteer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless OnStage, its agents, volunteers, board of directors and subsidiaries, from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, cost or expense (including attorney's fees) to the extent such claims directly arise as a result of actions taken by OnStage pursuant to the provisions described under the within Privacy Statement and Policy.

OnStage will not sell lists containing personally identifiable customer information to unaffiliated third parties in the normal operation of its business.

Links to Other Websites

Our web site contains links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by other sites. We require our volunteers to guard the privacy of information about our customers and expect our partners and suppliers to do so as well.

Revision of This Policy

This Privacy Statement and Policy may be revised from time to time by OnStage by updating this posting. Amendments to this policy will be effective when posted. You should therefore periodically visit this page to review the current Privacy Statement and Policy, so you are aware of any such revisions to which OnStage's board of directors, volunteers, agents and patrons are bound.
