Welcome to The BackStage Blog, the web log that offers an peek behind the curtain at Maurer Productions OnStage (www.mponstage.com). Over time I'll post stories about productions meetings, auditions, casting discussions, rehearsals. I'll try to include some insider news and maybe even a little gossip. Who knows. All I can guarantee is that I won't regale you with bad poetry. Though I'm almost certain to drive you mad with bad spelling. This blog is an experiment of sorts. It's an attempt to let you all in on how one small, but grouping theatre company thinks and operates. I think it will be interesting and hope you agree. So stay tuned.
