“Fiddler on the Roof"

Celebrating its 13th year of theater, Maurer Productions OnStage brings “Fiddler On The Roof” to Kelsey Theatre March 16 – 25, 2018 in West Windsor, NJ


(February 15, 2018) –West Windsor, N.J. –The award-winning team of Maurer Productions OnStage (MPO) presents “Fiddler on the Roof” at Kelsey Theatre Fridays, March 16 & 23 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, March 17 & 24 at 2 pm & 8 p.m.; and Sundays, March 18 & 25 at 2 p.m. Both Sunday shows are sold out. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 16.

Kelsey Theatre is located on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College at 1200 Old Trenton Road.

No other musical has so successfully woven music, dance, poignancy, and laughter into such a truly unforgettable show. As Tevye, a poor dairyman tries to hold onto his religion, his Russian-Jewish traditions, and his five daughters while eluding the difficult future that looms ever nearer, he learns that life is "as shaky as a fiddler on the roof." Join Maurer Productions OnStage to dream with "Matchmaker, Matchmaker;" laugh out loud with "If I Were a Rich Man," and tear up with "Sunrise, Sunset" and "Anatevka." Milstein of East Windsor as the Rabbi; Jeff Rosenthal of Dayton as the Rabbi’s son; Peter Sauer of Yardley as Mordcha & Nachum; Dan Slothower of Plainsboro as Avram; Gail Rose of Princeton Jct. as Grandma Tzeitel; Liz Susswein of Hamilton as Fruma-Sara; Jack Petzko of Cranbury as Yussel; Sara Thier of Newtown, PA.

The show is directed by John M. Maurer, co-founder of MPO with his wife, Diana Gilman Maurer who is also Stage Manager. Other members of the production team are Peter de Mets as Music Director, Kat Ross Kline as Choreographer & Haley Schmalbach as Assistant Choreographer. Master Carpenter Jeff Cantor; Lighting Design by Judi Parrish; Sound by Evan Paine; Costumes by Anthony Remer.

Tickets are $20 for adults; $18 for seniors; and $16 for students/children. You can purchase tickets online or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking next to the theater.
