Celebrating its 17th year of theatre, Maurer Productions OnStage brings James Hindman’s comedy Popcorn Falls to Kelsey Theatre February 18 - 27, 2022 in West Windsor, NJ

West Windsor, N.J. – Ewing based Maurer Productions OnStage presents the James Hindman’s Comedy “Popcorn Falls” at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre.

Dates and show times for James Hindman’s comedy “Popcorn Falls” are Fridays and Saturdays, Feb 18, 19, 25, & 26, 2022 at 8:00 pm and Sundays, Feb 20 & 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC’s West Windsor Campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road. The play is 90 minutes with no intermission.

MPOnStage presents this offbeat comedy which was a hit off-Broadway in 2018. POPCORN FALLS is the story of a small town forced into bankruptcy when a neighboring town threatens to turn them into a sewage treatment plant. Their solution? Put on a show! From the crazy cat lady to the over eager deputy with a stun gun, two actors play 21 characters in this high-energy, laugh-filled 90-minute race to save their beloved town.

The cast features Dan Keyser and Maria Keyser of Martinsville, NJ as the denizens of Popcorn Falls.

The show is directed by John M. Maurer and produced by John & Diana Maurer. Other members of the production team are Stage Manager Melissa Gaynor, Costume Designer Anthony Remer, Master Carpenter Jeff Cantor, Sound Engineer Evan Paine, and lighting designer Judi Parrish

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors & students and may be purchased online at kelseytheatre.org, or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333. Proof of Vaccination (or negative Covid test) required at door, with ID.  Masks must be worn at all times. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking next to the theater.
