STUART HAMPLE (Book) is the author, illustrator or editor of over 20 books, including the book that inspired the musical. He collaborated with Woody Allen on the syndicated comic strip "Inside Woody Allen" and wrote for the CBS series "Kate & Allie," as well as The Comedy Zone, produced by the Nederlanders. His two most recent picture books for children are I Will Kiss You – Lots & Lots & Lots, and Stoo Hample's Book of Bad Manners.".  Hample studied playwrighting with Edward Albee at Circle In The Square Theatre and appeared as "Mr. Artist" on the CBS TV show "Captain Kangaroo."

DAVID EVANS (Music) received a Drama Desk Nomination for his score for Off-Broadway¹s Birds Of Paradise (written with Winnie Holzman and directed by Arthur Laurents.) His musical, Love Comics, was produced at the George Street Playhouse several seasons ago. He has written songs for several hit Off-Broadway shows including A...My Name Is Alice, and for several television shows, including "Sesame Street" and "Square One TV". He has written nine musicals for Theatreworks USA and two musicals for the TADA theater company. An accomplished musical director and pianist as well, Mr. Evans has conducted and played on Broadway, Off-Broadway and at prominent regional theaters throughout the country. His credits include the recent Broadway revivals of Flower Drum Song and Bells Are Ringing, Marie Christine and Hello Again at Lincoln Center, and Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh, Sills And Company and As Thousands Cheer Off-Broadway. He is currently Assistant Conductor of the hit musical, Wicked.

DOUGLAS COHEN (Lyrics) is the composer/lyricist of Broadway bound THE BIG TIME, an original musical with a book by Douglas Carter Beane, which premiered in NYMF 2005 directed by Chris Ashley; and composer/lyricist/co-librettist for the off-Broadway bound new musical, THE OPPOSITE OF SEX, based on the film by Don Roos, recently produced at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.  He was awarded two Richard Rodgers Grants and the Gilman & Gonzalez-Falla Theatre Foundation Award for writing NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY (recently optioned for a New York revival and previously produced twice off-Broadway with over 100 regional productions in the U.S. and abroad) and THE GIG (Manhattan Theatre Club Stage II, Goodspeed, Sacaramento Music Circus, Theatre Baden-Baden in Germany, and upcoming Jay Records CD release in August 2008).  Nominated for a 2005 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lyrics for CHILDREN’S LETTERS TO GOD (off-Broadway’s Lamb’s Theatre, recorded on Jay Records), Doug is the composer of BARNSTORMER, which was presented at Hartford Stage Company’s 2007 Brand: New Festival and received a Jonathan Larson Grant; the composer of GLIMMERGLASS (Goodspeed, Spirit of Broadway production); and the librettist/lyricist of VALENTINO’S TANGO.  He contributed the original songs to off-Broadway’s BOOZY, written and produced by the Obie award-winning Les Freres Corbusier (Top 10 list New York Daily News and Time Out: New York).   Douglas is currently working on a musical version of Frank Gilroy’s novel, FROM NOON TILL THREE.
